The 2017 recital was held on Saturday May 6th. There were 68 children, ages 5 to 17 from the Naples/Collier County area who gave a performance. All 3 recitals were more exciting than we had anticipated – as each one began as a recital, but before long became a SHOW. There were many varied genres, from classic to modern, and all so well prepared! It literally came off without a hitch, and the the teachers were both thrilled and proud of every young person who performed that day.
We all know from experience how absolutely difficult it is to give a solo performance, and we feel that each child came away with a totally new level of poise and maturity from these 3 recital performances. Congratulations to all! 😀
Our goal as teachers is to foster within our students a sense of self confidence, so that they may play a strong and polished performance. This skill will have enormous value that goes beyond piano, and they will carry it with them through out their lives.
The teachers are looking forward to another year of good progress, and would like to thank all the parents for allowing us the wonderful opportunity to teach your children!
